Rodney Peters, RICP® Founder
Money matters can be complex, but Rodney Peters’ approach to money and finances isn’t complicated at all.
“All too often the absence of money leads to stress and unhappiness,” says Rodney, the founder of Peters Wealth Group. “I see money as nothing more than a tool to enjoy the life you want. Guiding others toward the life they want is important; that’s a big reason why I started this firm.”
Adept at guiding families through the ever-changing environment of retirement, Rodney is on a mission to help 1 million people retire with confidence. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships with his clients so he can collaborate on holistic financial strategies and educate them to make informed decisions before and during retirement.
Rodney is a financial professional and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) who can offer both investments and insurance. He graduated from the Ohio State University with an economics degree in 2008. The firm’s mission is to cultivate happiness so our clients can enjoy an amazing life.
“My business is about people and not a physical item,” Rodney says, “so my biggest responsibilities are to care for my clients and look out for their well-being.”
Rodney’s financial insights can be heard each Saturday on his “Retire Ready Ohio” radio program. Hosted by James Parker, the show airs at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on WTOH 98.8 FM The Answer and at 11 a.m. on WRFD 880 AM The Word.
Rodney married his high school sweetheart, Mackenzie, more than a decade ago, and the couple lives in Delaware, Ohio, with their three boys: Bennett, Bowen and Brooks. When he isn’t helping clients, Rodney loves spending time with his family, especially running with his sons in the backyard. He also enjoys cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
Mackenzie Peters Marketing Director
Mackenzie was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, where she attended school alongside her husband, Rodney. After high school, Mackenzie attended Mercy College of northwest Ohio to obtain her degree in radiologic technology, serving in the Columbus-area hospital systems for 17 years. Mackenzie returned to the classroom to obtain her B.A. in psychology from Otterbein University. Mackenzie finds that her best days are spent adventuring with her three young boys and husband and believes a life spent outdoors is a life well lived. Mackenzie looks forward to traveling with her family to places that will expand their horizons and allow all of them to grow.
